Originally we sold Imperial
vacuum motors, but they are getting harder to get so we are now offering our own
brand which are designed and assembled in Tennessee with same warrantee and
higher spec's.
These OD motors
are not flat bottomed - see Diagram
You must
have at least 1/4" leakage per motor for proper cooling of
the lower bearing, and 3/8" for the OD motors
This must be filtered air-possibly using
a dome filter like a ShopVac uses
This will give you plenty of surface air
If you come up with a better idea
please tell us so we can tell others.
If you do not, you will destroy the motor
and the warrantee will not apply!
We had a customer who
was cutting full
sheets and his muffler's 90 degree coupling
was getting soft and not staying connected
The customer was using the OD motors.
The motors only lasted 6 weeks - not good!
We both learned together!
